A’MORE ENTERTAINMENT is the marketing and events company of Mi Amore Culinary Innovations, one of the top direct dealers of Saladmaster in the world (400 authorized dealers in 72 countries) and named Startup Company of the Year by the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County. It was founded by Amorfina ‘Pia’ Legaspi, also its president and CEO.
Pia founded Amore Culinary Innovations in 2010 as a cancer survivor looking to spread the benefits of healthy food preparation. Six years later, she branched out with Amore Care Services, providing in-home caregivers for seniors all over Los Angeles. Amore Entertainment is the latest of the three in the Amore Group, named after its founder’s birth name, Amorfina.
In the span of three years, Pia and her production outfit have cemented an impressive reputation for high-quality international-caliber entertainment. Since 2017, Amore Entertainment has presented ten successful concerts featuring multiple legendary acts: The Platters (June 2017); The Lettermen (September 30, 2017 and April 29, 2018); the Philippines’ Concert King Martin Nievera (November 2018), Cascades founder John Claude Gummoe (January 12, 2019); the Philippines’ Megastar herself, Sharon Cuneta (March 30, 2019); Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velaquez-Alcasid (May 26, 2019); First Filipino WCOPA Grand Champion, The Singer’s Singer, Jed Madela (July 27, 2019) ; The Queen of Theme Songs, Angeline Quinto together with The Ultimate Entertainer, K Brosas (November 2, 2019); and the iconic Filipino disco group of the late 70s and mid-80s, VST (January 19, 2020).

While launched Amore Entertainment in 2017, Pia is no stranger to show business. Ten years earlier (in 2007), she mounted her first concert production in 2007, featuring South Border and Geneva Cruz at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. In 2008, she produced the dance extravaganza “Best of the Best,” also at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. The success of that project spawned “L.A. Ballroom Dancing Show” which drew world-class competitors; it was held in 2014 at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts.
All told, Pia has mounted 10 major productions in just the last three years—while at the same time running her successful Mi Amore Culinary Innovations and Amore Care and raising a family.
For her accomplishments as an entrepreneur and community leader, Pia was voted one of 2015 Women Achievers in Cerritos by the influential AARP (American Association of Retired Persons). In 2017, the City of Carson, CA awarded her the title Mrs. Philippines Independence. She is also a longtime member of the Philippine Press Club International.
Hardworking and enterprising as she is, Pia credits her success to her philosophy, which she eloquently states thus: “I do concerts and shows mainly for fun, but also as a good creative way to fundraise for the causes I believe in, namely, my church, Heart of Worship Community Church in Los Angeles, led by my spiritual adviser Pastor Kevin Ramientos. For me, charity and music go hand and hand, they are my favorite expressions of love for God.”

The Amore Entertainment is an offshoot of Amore Culirary’s (Salad Master) brilliant marketing tool. Apparently, Pia has a contagious passion, incredible organizational skills and a genius of spotting opportunities. With that kind of gift, stream of incredible ideas flow to her mind endlessly. This has actually made the Amore Entertainment became a major undertaking.
Through the years, it has made great relations with numerous Filipino artists and superstars . It has worked with the likes of Sharon Cuneta, Lani Misalucha Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera, Angeline Quinto, K Brosas, The VST & Co, Lettermen to name some of those memorable shows produced.
Arnel Pineda of the Famous Group Journey will be doing a show with Bamboo at Pala Casino coming September and again at Anaheim Grove.
The clamor and inquiries for tickets has actually surprised the producers because the response was overwhelming.
Several shows more are in the drawing board especially those suspended because of the pandemic.
But Amore Entertainment had already solidified its position as a powerhouse in the entertainment scene. AMORE now holds an impeccable reputation as a concert producer. It’s years of experience has paid off beautifully. It has survived enormous trials akin to growing up pains in the trade. But through it all, Pia Legaspi was able to create and norture an impeccable network of reliable friends and people who share her vision.
